In the past, we’ve offered templates in the form of sample notes that you can copy to a notebook, then duplicate to reuse. I’ve been using templates in Evernote for a long time. At this time, no other versions or browsers are supported. In order to use templates, you must be using the newest version of the Evernote app on desktop or mobile, or the new Evernote Web on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Opera. If you don't see templates in your account-that is, the Template button in the note body after creating a new note-you may not be using the newest version of Evernote. Frequently Asked Questions Why can't I see templates in my account? Note: You must use the newest version of the Evernote app on desktop or mobile, or the new Evernote Web on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Opera, in order to apply a template to a note. The template will automatically be applied to your new note, then you can begin editing the note as you normally would.
To view the collection, click or tap Template in a new note, or follow the steps below. We’ve created dozens of templates to help you get started. If you have an Evernote paid subscription, you can even create your own templates from existing notes. To get started, create a new note, then click or tap Template to access the Template Gallery and apply a template to your note. Templates are pre-formatted notes that you can use and reuse.
